Individual Therapy — San Francisco Bay Area & California
CLARITY. RELIEF. GUIDANCE.
A practical, thoughtful approach to psychological insight and change.
Helping capable, reflective adults better understand the patterns shaping their lives.
Are you getting in your own way?
Do you find yourself overthinking decisions or interactions and exhausting yourself mentally?
Do you procrastinate on tasks and find yourself working late hours or trying to catch up on weekends?
Does fear of failure or making a mistake drive you to perfectionist tendencies that contribute to burnout?
Is it difficult for you to take direction from others, to ask for help from others, or to rely on others for support?
When you do find time, do you suffer from indecision or blank out and feel like you are wasting time?
Do you feel selfish or lazy if you are able to disconnect and focus on yourself in your personal life?
Do you isolate or require recovery after socializing or after being in a new or unfamiliar situation?
But what if I told you…
A decision can be made quickly without second guessing yourself or overthinking it.
It is possible to tell your mother-in-law to ‘shove it’ without dying from guilt-overload.
Not all confrontations and disagreements lead to destruction of relationships.
Saying ‘no’ and knowing your limits will gain you more respect than you’d expect.
Finding time in the day to improve your quality of life is easier than you’d think.
And finally, you can improve your life with a shift in perspective and a community you can rely on.

my approach
-

clarity.
Clarity begins with understanding. A comprehensive psychological evaluation provides the precision and perspective that therapy alone cannot. It offers a structured, and in-depth view of your strengths and struggles—helping you name what is happening, why it matters, and what to do next.
-

relief.
Relief is obtained through intentional change. These sessions target specific symptoms, reduce stress, and strengthen cognitive and behavioral flexibility. The goal is to bring ease and steadiness to your daily life, relationships, and mental load—so you can move from coping to real change.
-

guidance.
Guidance begins where insight meets curiosity. For clients seeking more than symptom relief, this work explores identity, meaning, and long-standing patterns with depth and discernment. The goal is to bring direction and coherence to life transitions, difficult decisions, and the ongoing work of self-definition.
Steps to get you started
-
Poke Around My Website.
See if we are a good fit, decide if you think you want to move forward. Feel free to check out my “About” page for more information on me and my practice, or skip straight to the ”Services” page to see whether your needs and my services align.
-
Consider Logistics.
I provide telehealth only. Fees and financial logistics can be found on the FAQs page and you can do the math and consider whether this is a financial investment you can make. Sessions are conducted on a weekly basis at a set day/time each week.
-
Reach Out and Hang tight.
Go to the Contact page and enter your name and email. You can introduce yourself now, or wait until we set up a free 15-20 minute consultation. If you want to do that, just request it there. Email is the best way to reach me- I’m not a phone gal.
-
Schedule Initial Consult.
Once I receive your request, give me 24-48 hours, and I’ll get back to you with an option for a free 15-20 minute consultation. During the consultation, if it feels like a fit, we can schedule an initial appointment then. If there’s a waitlist, I’ll let you know.
-
Orient yourself with the portal.
Once we agree on a start date, I’ll send over a recurring Zoom link, as well as an email from Simple Practice (client portal) with a link prompting you to create a login, review and sign the necessary documents, and fill out the necessary information to enroll in services.
-
Show up… (do the thing)...
Set a reminder if necessary, and update your Zoom. Show up…and I’ll take it from there! Attendance and commitment are a necessary part of treatment efficacy and progress, so make sure to clear your work calendar during your session each week!
Try something new.
Find comfort in solitude.
